I used to be absolutely nuts about EverQuest for the first few years after its release. Then as things started to change I couldn't find myself enjoying the game as much as I used to.
I recently ran across this free game,
Shards of Dalaya
It seems to promise a similar experience as the early days of EQ. It emulates the EQ engine, but supposedly has different zones, quests, and class aspects. Since it's free, I'm going to give it a try and I'll be back with a more comprehensive report later.
