GetGamer Gets Upgraded

It's upgrade time!

I'm going to be upgrading the forums at GetGamer today, and (if time permits) fixing things up a bit. There will be some temporary downtime for the site, and you may see some periodic weirdness as we bring things back online.

You can help by reporting any anomalies here.

UPDATE: as of 8pm Pacific time, the site has been back up and mostly functional.

Those of you with a sharp eye will probably notice some changes and maybe even some bugs or other weirdness.

If you run across something that looks weird or doesn't work right, please post a reply here. Thanks!

Looking good. The copyright notice on the bottom of the page looks funky, as does the breadcrumb separator (after "GetGamer"). And I don't see a link to the arcade.

I think I like the wider format, but it's a little "bright" still. How about some new graphics, eh?

I get some weird shit. the little blue bar at the very tippy top of the screen now has a space above it, and sometimes some weird characters like WTF is up with that??!!

I agree it's moving in the right direction (no mo' double menu bar -- yay!!!) but still looks a wee bit rough around the edges, no?

Erm... its not supposed to look like its just a white page with a few hyperlinks, is it? Oh and ' ' is displayed on the top of every page. :S

We're having a few, um, "difficulties" with the upgrade. Please be patient. I hope to have them resolved by Monday night.

Ok, we are still not 100% back, and I'm going to be updating the forum software (again). The site will be down for a (hopefully) just a few minutes.

Looks like it's working, but the homepage still has the funny "WE THE GAMERS..." message and some of the avatars are not showing up.
