When Capcom debuted its remake of the classic arcade brawler Final Fight at E3 this year a lot of us started salivating. And this remake is definitely not the same game I readily pumped quarters into during birthday parties at the roller rink, nope, Streetwise takes a turn for the mature…

”Our level of brutality while executing game-play actions is not for the faint of heart. I would not recommend a game like this for kids under the age of 18. Our dialogue contains humor & lingo clearly geared toward mature audiences, and executed in a way that doesn’t feel “forced”. Some of the situations in our game are too questionable for younger audiences. I’d tell you details, but I think it’s tacky to publicly provide spoilers in game interviews. You’ll just have to wait to see what I mean…”

Final Fight is back?!

[Starts Drooling] I can't wait. Final Fight CD on the old Mega CD ruled!

Streets of Rage 2 was better though.

Final Fight is a classic 2D scrolling beat em up. Basically, you walk around, hit people, pick up weapons, hit more people, hit the second player whos supposed to be helping you, fight a few end of level bosses... its a lot of fun! Not sure if it'll work in 3D but i'll give it a try.
