We're looking for some hard-core gamers interested in helping us get GetGamer off and running. If you live, eat and breath games and would like to be an important part of this brand new gamer-to-gamer community, join our LAUNCH TEAM.

What is the GetGamer Launch Team? It's our hardcore members -- people who aren't afraid to voice their opinions. They are into games, and will post reviews, tips, tricks and secrets. And they spread the word -- helping get the word out about GetGamer to the rest of the world.

If this interests you, post a reply. We're looking for a good balance of interests (console, PC, etc.) ages and geographic location. If you're accepted, you'll get access to a special "Launch Team" forum and other goodies.

I'm interested. I play PS2, PC, Mega Drive, Mega CD, Game boy and N-gage and have owned an N64 and still use a PS1. I can provide tips for sports and strategy games mostly and will post reviews on games i currently own and ones i buy. I can give advice on games and tips and cheats as well.

I also have a suggestion. On the site, how about a launch date page for big releases (such as GTA: San Andreas). People could find out release dates for their area (US, Europe, Japan etc.) for the games they want???? It could link directly from the homepage

Also, Red Devil's interested. Hes a retro gamer and is still trying to get rare games for his mega drive and still plays Sonic. He might post later to give full details.

I didn't think I'd get on the Internet for the next couple of days so I asked Sharpshooter to post for me... but I managed to get on tonight so hey, this sounds interesting.

Like Sharpshooter said, I'm interested in joining the Launch Team. I enjoy retro Mega Drive gaming, (though anyone on BBB will already know that) as well as the newer consoles. I have a PS2 as my next-gen console, as well as a PS1, Dreamcast, Game Boy advance and I'm sure I have an original Game Boy about somewhere...

I enjoy RPGs, Fighters, Platformers, FPS and some strategy games. I'll be happy to write reviews or share any tips I have.

This idea seems well cool. I own PS2, Gamecube, X-BOX, Nintendo 64, NES, SNES, Gameboy advance SP, and I have emulators for "Megadrive," Dreamcast, SNES, and NES, with access to any rom (pretty much). I'm not exactly sure what I'll be doing here, but it seems well alright. I enjoy pretty much all game types... 'cept sports games...

Holds up hand, waves it wildly ... I am a gaming freak. Currently I own a GameCube, GBA:SP, and a PS2. The games I am currenyly playing are: (for the PS2) Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Sonic Mega Collection (for the GameCube) Zelda: The Windwaker, Zelda: Ocarina of Time & Master Quest (for the GBA:SP) Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Golden Sun & Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, Zelda: Oracle of Seasons & Oracle of Ages.

If you need someone who is a gaming nut for your Launch Team count me in.

I'm interested and would like more details. My gaming interests are mostly PC - PS1/SNES/N64/NES/DC/Mame (console and emulation) - MMORPGS etc.
Currenty a Final Fantasy XI addict. :-)

31 from Jacksonville, FL. I've done various writting project in the past, nothing elaborant.
