Gamespy gets a first look at the Doom 3 expansion pack due out later this year, Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil. The PC pack by Nerve Software and id picks up two years after the end of Doom 3 proper. You’ll come across a new breed of baddies, including the Vulgar and the Forgotten. Nice names. There will also be a gravity-gun-like weapon that id insists they were playing around with far before Half-Life 2’s was revealed. And last, but not least, the number of people who can kill each other online has jumped from four to eight. That’s more like it.
