Team Xbox is reporting that Xbox 2’s launch will be blessed with a slight update to Halo 2. Halo 2.5, if you must. The piece mentions the title Halo 2 Directors Cut, but if that actually happens I will kill someone with one of my cats. The revised version would have HDTV support, which we expected to have for the Xbox title that was just released.
Other tidbits in the piece include the possibility that Halo 2.5 will come pre-loaded on the Xbox 2’s hard drive. Very interesting.
