Tournament two is now ready for players! A game of basketball rally is ready for players. 3 more players required, 3 tries a round. Highest score wins.
If people are disappointed that they didn't get to play in this one, leave a message on this thread and we'll make an 8-player tournament next time.

Think I might skip this one. I don't understand that game at all. I can get about two baskets if i'm lucky so I doubt I'll be much competition. That, and I should really really really do my dissertation.

Well, that's sort of the reason why I picked the game to start off with. It's unpredictability makes it anyone's game. I added the 3rd attempt as well incase it's difficult to score within the first try.

Oh hell. I got the high score in a tournament game, but it didn't show on the main arcade page. Not until I played a non-tournament game and got yet another high score did it show on the main arcade page. That kinda sucks. Is that how it's supposed to work??!

Yeah that's how it works. Its annoying when you're in tournament mode and you do set the 'high score' as such, but it doesn't show up. At least it shows you can do it consistently though!
I think I'm way to an early exit in this tournament again... :cool:

This sucks. There was something wrong with my browser. I tried to play, but the game never loaded. Now I'm knocked out of the tournament. Grrrr....

Well, here's an event we never expected to see. BigBlue is in the final with a score of.... 0! This is due to Assimov not playing all 3 games. I did leave him a personal message to remind him to play his final game(s), however this has not been completed and he has been disqualified as such. Sorry Assimov, but this is an automatic arcade system and despite having the better score, BigBlue advances to the next round. GamerGrrl still has one game to play but currently trails 75-69 in the other semi-final. Make sure you use all the games you've been given!

lol, unlucky GamerGrrl (Heather was it?), I thought you had me in this eliminator. I think I just got lucky on the final go and came out with 75. I can't get above 50 now! It should be an interesting final though!

well, I'm pretty much accepting defeat, but I've had 2 A-level exams and started work this week, so I haven't practised either and it shows!
Congratulations to Jeff (BigBlue) for winning the 'Basketball Rally' tournament, beating me, 91-75 in the final. BigBlue now gets a nice 'tournaments won:1' sign in the arcade section of his bar.
Looks like Sharpshooter isn't such a sharp shooter. And he's dragging his feet to complete that third game. ;)
After that final showing, I'd rate my actual real basketball skills higher then my 'clicky' skills used in that game.
