Grand Theft Auto IV supposedly gives you a more free-form play as opposed to a purely linear, mission-based play. The basic concept is that missions can overlap. You don't need to start/complete each mission in sequence. It's more realistic in that sense.

I say supposedly because even though I've GOT the game, I STILL haven't broken the shrink-wrap! This weekend...

Well, I do own GTA IV.

If i'm honest it does miss out on some of the more fun features of the previous installments and outdide of missions, there are very few odd-jobs to do.

You can still swim and pool, darts and bowling are on offer.

Packages are in there, in a way and are a complete pain to find.

Not really such a deal breaker as the main story missions are just superb, very addictive and since there are so many it'll last you a good while. You can always play through multiple times too.

Get it!
