Favourite music making game

I'm having a slight obsession with music making games at the moment, mainly with guitar hero, but I've got a few others too, my favorite probably being Rez. Just because it's a completely insane music making shooting game from Sega which tends to hypnotize you if you play it for more than half an hour. I was just wondering what everyone else's favourite was and why?

(Let me know if I've missed anything particularly obvious off the poll)

Good poll, but hard to choose between them. I'm really liking Guitar Hero, but chose Rez because it's so addictive.

Another Rez fan, this makes me happy! Last person I tried to explain Rez to gave me a funny look and told me I was weird :/

Edit - Forgot to put Audiosurf into the poll... which is stupid considering how much I've played it recently :S

It was a hard decision but I have to go with guitar hero, with Rez at a close second. Ive played guitar hero series since it came out and have been addicted to it ever since. Guitar hero 2 was probably the best.

I got Rock Band for my birthday, and it's now my favorite. The multiplayer aspect is incredibly fun.

We're still waiting for that here, although the Xbox 360 version has an official release date now. Still waiting for news of the PS2 version though.

I want Guitar hero on the DS!

I picked 'Audiosurf', which I'm surprised you did leave off the poll. Its uses the beat from the song to create blocks of 'traffic' for you to collect during the song. Get 3 or more colours together to gain points, but overfilling a row will result in a loss of points and a 'respawning' penalty. A great game available on the Steam network at £4.99

This example uses the 'Intermediate' mono car, in which one colour is collected and the greys are ignored. Other cars use various colours and create different combos. This song is 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger' by Daft Punk

It's also multiplayer, as the 'double vision' cars can be used. The song is 'Knights of Cydonia' by Muse

Yeah, thats my bad. Every time I make a poll, I always leave something obvious off the list. Unfortunately,
I couldn't see a way to edit it, even with my shiny mod powers, although that was probably just me being stupid. I also missed off elite beat agents for the DS, which is great but completely insane. I'm currently stuck on the last level of medium mode... so very hard.
