I've noticed that many members may just be logging on to Get Gamer just to play on the arcade. Out of 36 members; 28 have less than 5 posts. I know that we are only beta testing at the moment but this could grow to a bigger number of people not bothering to post and leaving the forum section for a minority of people to constantly use.

Hey, this was my idea! As soon as I catch you, you're dead! ;)
Anyway, I definetly agree. We don't want loads of people signing up just to play on the arcade. The arcade should be a great extension to the forums. However, theres a danger that the forums could just become a little used extension to the arcade. :-/

This is true, the arcade could end up being the main reason for people joining. The only problem with making people have a certain number of posts to play the arcade, is that we could potentially get problems with people posting things like one word replies, and such. And I dont think anyone wants to go through and make sure that everyone is posting messages that are "good enough"(which is hard to define) every day. But that is a good idea and we will definitely think about it.

I'd rather not have had to bring this up again, but is this the sight we want? Only 2/12 members actually in the forum and the rest in the arcade? Now 72 out of 86 members have 4 or less posts. Some of these are probably inactive, but others are just joining for the arcade. This could end up as a problem in the future if we're not careful.
I know it would be difficult to stop people posting 1 word or double-(or triple-)posting if we put a post limit on it, but I think something has to be done about it.
The picture shows 10 out of 12 active members playing in the arcade, some of which I'd never seen before (names are blanked out so no-one complains about being highlighted).
Something else strange. Either it's a bug/glitch/whatever or the accounts havent been properly activated, but 8 members dont actually show up in the member list. No wonder I hadn't seen them before...
