Wipeout Pulse Online

Studio Liverpool, makers of WipEout Pulse, have created www.wipeout-game.com, a central place for all the next 3 wipeout games. As only wipeout pulse is operational at the present moment, Playstation Network members can sign up and create custom ships (and publish them to the world) and download wallpapers to their computer and PSP. Players can also play online through wireless connections, upload their times to the online leaderboard and upload ghost ships for others to download.

I currently find myself at #6 on one leaderboard. If you've got the game, try and beat my records!

If you did get a PSP, I'd definitely recommend buying it. It's got a good online play mode as well. The other crafts can flicker a little on screen but its enjoyable.

However, you don't get the complete game in one go. 4 downloadable 'packs' are released with the first one (Mirage) containing an new ship and 2 new tracks, for £3.49. I'm not sure what the US$ price is but i imagine it'll b cheaper then the UK one!
