Sharpshooter

I have just played the new FIFA Football (soccer) 2005, and in my 1st Impressions, it seems as disappointing as the rest. Despite all the new features, it still feels like you're not in control.
EA have tried to add even more features in this version. Its 'First Touch' idea involves no effort from the person playing the game and is just some strange/stupid flick which either works somehow or makes you lose the ball.
Another problem is the camera. It is set so far out that you feel that you're watching, not playing, the game. I think the idea is that then you can see to both sides of the pitch (side to side ,not from goal-to-goal), without the use of a map, like in Pro Evolution Soccer 3.
It's also too realistic. My friend was playing on a league while i watched him and he had a player sent off. When he checked his player news, he found out that the player who had been sent off had been given an extra 3 week ban for 'arguing with the referee'. As far as i'm aware, there's no button to fight with the referee or argue with him in FIFA.
EA have also tried to make a new corner system where you chose to either swing the ball to the near or far post, or 'drive' the ball into the centre. The next is where you pick one player to control and you must have a 1-on-1 battle with a defender to get into position. This is totally pointless because if the defender hasn't pushed you away, the goalkeeper grabs it.
It does seem to have a ok free kick system, but sometimes you maybe forced to shoot from impossible angles, such as 45 yards out, while being on the left throw-in line. No goalkeeper will let that in.
Overall, i think that if you are considering buying FIFA 2005, reconsider. Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is just out and even though it does not contain all the real names for players, gameplay is a lot better.
