Hey everyone,
I put in the reviews section and was wondering what you thought of it so far? It is still in the works, meaning that I know it doesn't have the same colors and formatting, so bear with for awhile as I get everything situated. I would like to know what you think of the categories, am I missing something?
Also, if you'd like to start uploading please do so, it saddens me to see all those empty categories. Plus, I need to make sure the uploading thing works without any problems. If you want to upload it is in the top right, labeled 'upload product', on the reviews page.
Hope you all like it!
Check out the Sneak peak of the reviews section (http://www.getgamer.com/reviews/)
Let me know what you think!

It looks good. I think we made need an 'others' section for other consoles, like the N-Gage or retro consoles, etc..
I couldn't find the upload button either. If its on another page, then I just kept getting;
Error 404 (pic below). Also, we wont have to sign in seperatley in the future, will we?

We'll change that later, but let me know if you still don't see it.

Starting to look better. But ya know, i still see the same people talking on these forums. Why isnt everyone talking >.<.

The reason no-one talks sasimi is that we have an arcade and nobody cares about what we post. There's at least 100 'members' doing that.
Anyway, back to the subject. I really cant see the upload product button and i cant access the test post or anything. I just get error 404. Maybe its set so only moderators and administrators can upload reviews?

Ok, the default.css, for unknown reasons, decided to put the text and background as white. So, go ahead and see if you can find the 'Upload Product' text again, I changed the color of the text so you can see it. We're still working on the .css to get it to match the rest of the website! Hope it works! Let me know if you have any problems.
Ok, found another problem. The links dont appear to be working, the ones that go to into the categories. DOH! I'll be working on that now. hopefully it will be fixed soon enough

Yeah, you have to be logged in to be able to upload product reviews.
It should look like this in the upper right corner when your not logged in - first attachment
And like this when you log in - second attachment

Well, I got it to look like GetGamer.com now there are some other issues to look over. Like why the upload products isn't showing up and why the links aren't going to the right spots. Well we should get if fixed as soon as we can. I'll be working on it most of my time, or atleast that the feeling I get. ;)

Alright! I've got the reviews section working and looking great! Now I need a few people to test it out for us. If you want to add a Review of an old game, new game or hardware we really need your help. Once we are sure everything is working ok and Jeff is pleased with the amount of content I can relax some more. :D
Go ahead and give it a shot guys!

If you have a chance, try creating a new review just to test. The wording is "upload a product" which is weird and I think should be changed to something like "post a review" or something, but I want to make sure it's working either way.

Well the upload a product thing i tested first of all. However when you see the reviews section tab, up on the top, it is all greyed out. Any known reason for this?? And i agree with BB about the "Upload Product" button should be change to "Post a Review".

Yeah, we'll change the button. I'm just alittle lazy atm :p. And we should definitely change it to say Post a Review.
Anyways. It looks like everything is working great! I'm so happy!

I was supposed to post before, but I think the review system works well and is easy to use. I'm not totally sure I did it properly though. I the only bit i thought was confusing was the fact that you had to describe the game first and then post your opinion on it in a seperate post. The 'pros and cons' part to it helps you point out the main point though, which is good.
