A friend of mine is getting a Sony PSP for her 10-year old son. Can you suggest some good games? What are your "top three" recommendations?

Obviously the son's personal preference is going to come into play, but theres a few games out there for 10-year olds. One i have, Loco Roco is very good, despite it looking like a very 'cutesy' game. It only involves using the left and right shoulder buttons, so it could be a good place to start, especially as Loco Roco 2 is due out soon in the UK, so it might be already out in America. It's simple to play, but challenging to complete the level 100%
If they like any sports, there's usually one good game out for the PSP for it. NBA Live 07 works very well on the PSP so EA games are probably a good place to start if they like any sports.
If they like racing, they might like to play Burnout or Need For Speed, something that's not too hard. However, I'd recommend WipeOut Pure as it really is one of the best games i've ever played. It really is that good. Also, its sequel, WipeOut Pulse, is due out in time for Christmas (7th Dec - UK release). The only problem is that you've gotta have a decent size memory stick as a lot of tracks need to be downloaded from the internet at yourpsp.com
There's a few suggestions there. If they like RPG's, it'll be down to what he likes rather then anything i can suggest. It's important not to overlook the UMD movies either though, as these are actually very good, especially when traveling. It's best to find these on internet sites for the bigger choice as well. They may require a small adjustment in the menu for the sound quality if you use the 90db restricted earphones that come with the PSP, but they can be great.
