I do agree that chronotrigger is a great rpg. But I'd have to say that I wouldn't want it to be made into a 3d project. Personally, I prefer the sprite bases graphics of the original. Decent looking screenshots though.

On another note, anyone else hate toriyama's art style in the PSX version?
