I was just thinking of a few ideas to improve the forum, but I thought it would be better to see what everyone else thought as well.
A page with release dates could be a good idea, but i know it'd be difficult to manage, with different release dates for Japan, USA and Europe. It'd probably easier though if it could be updated by a group of members so it was kept as accurate as possible.
A weekly/fortnightly feature asking the same question but about different games/consoles/etc. , such as 'How would you improve... Resident Evil/Nintendo DS?' This could be made by 1 member - or a group of members - who chooses a topic a week/fortnight to discuss and for all the members to have their say about. I'm sure it would keep posting going and would lead to some big discussions (and hopefully not arguments).
A Top 10 games sales list. This could be for the week or the month and could show the games selling well across the world. It could a world table or regional (US,EUR,JP,etc.). I know this one is probably the most difficult to manage as it's constantly changing, but its very informative.
Also, a rating system for games? This could be where 1 forum member reviews a game and gives a game a rating (scale of 1-10), and the rest of the forum members get a vote and the reviewers' score can be seen next to a member-voted score. Members could also comment on the game as well. Its like the review system but probably needs a few more members to take off properly on the forum.
