Yeah, i agree. The vertical instead of horizontal screen didn't help. Playing Sonic N was a bit of a nightmare unless you learnt the game back to front. If you played on a full screen, you couldn't see where you would end up in 2 seconds or where a boss was. If you played with huge borders (which took up at least half the screen), you could see in front of you but the graphics were poor.
The QD wasn't much of an improvement either. Nokia still had 'phone first' inside their head and didnt change the screen much. Also, the battery life was a problem, especially if you needed it later to make an important phone call.
It could have been a revloutionary handheld console, but critical mistakes were made and the battery life, lack of games and PSP condemned it to the trash can.
