Today, Warner Bros. released a teaser trailer for the newest game of the Mortal Kombat series, aptly titled Mortal Kombat. As of November 1, 2010, Microsoft will increase subscription costs for Xbox Live. Today, Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb announced the new prices for subscriptions: $59.99/year, $24.99/3mos., and $9.99/mo. These prices come as $10, $5, and $2 increases to current plans, respectively. Subscribers in Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom should also expect a price bump. Insomniac Games, who has been releasing games exclusively for the PlayStation platform for 14 years, will finally be releasing their brand of humor and quality to the Xbox 360. Being a huge fan of the Marvel Vs. Capcom series, the news from Captivate 2010 brings me great joy. Although I will miss the hand-drawn sprites of the previous generation of titles, the new cell shaded graphics, courtesy of the MT Framework engine previously used on Resident Evil 5 and the upcoming Lost Planet 2, are fantabulous. According to a tweet by Matias Myllyrinne, Remedy Entertainment's managing director, Alan Wake has gone gold for the Xbox 360.
