Bungie Signs 10 Year, One Franchise Partnership with Activision

So it seems that the loss of Infinity Ward is no longer Activision’s concern, as Bungie, the creators of Halo and Marathon, have partnered with Activision to release one new, multi-platform franchise over the next 10 years.

This is not a buyout or change in ownership, as Bungie will still remain an independent studio which will continue to own its intellectual property. This is a simple publishing partnership for a new franchise.
